It's difficult to believe that in this city of great opportunity, the quest for a relationship with high-caliber men is so elusive. Hence, my "research" into this venue to explore opportunities to meet men who are above and beyond any standard opportunities for correspondence.

I work in marketing, events and training for luxury goods and services. I may not be a millionaire myself, but interface with them daily with great aplomb and amusement. I travel and have travelled extensively, have enjoyed incredible experiences and have reached a point where I find myself yearning for a more stable, secure life shared with someone with whom chemistry is impenetrable, undeniable. Now the real goal - hoping to find that special someone who can help me realize my dreams, relieve some of the aftermath that was 2009, and build great synergy and in the perfect world, an ideal partner both professionally and personally.

My interests and endeavors are very diverse, always open to new explorations and am as social as sedate as the situation dictates. I attend many events, often behind the scenes if i've produced it, but always enjoy convivial face time I have with clients and guests.

Originally from Honolulu, deep down it's still considered home and maintain an eclectic and artful opium den of a cottage there. I also keep an apartment in the city, and could be at either residence depending on the work itinerary i'm on. But soon comes the day when the perceived luxury of this will fade as I approach an age where stability and routine becomes as appealing as all that i've been fortunate enough to have accomplished.

I am very curious of the outcome this site exploration might bring, ideally intriguing liasons and intelligent correspondence.

It's funny - seems like so many think an ideal 1st date would be a movie and dinner. The thing that seems inefficient to me is that for the 2 hours you're in a movie, you don't have opportunity to actually experience each other because you can't talk. I don't think there's an ideal 1st date as much as a mutually enjoyable activity, simple or otherwise and provides a means to engage each other.

I'm lucky to have been to a lot of places, seen many levels of life. But always up for new adventures. I do have a yen for India, most parts of Asia and Europe. I'll try (almost) anything once, as long as it doesn't pose too high a threat to sever a limb or lose consciousness.

Call me old-fashioned, I can't deny it in terms of values and manners. Though as this world evolves at break-neck speed, i'd be in the dust if I kept living in the idilic and polite movie vibe of the 50's that runs in my head. (I think I just liked that people made the effort to dress and showed care for each other of that era.)

Nonetheless, I have an insatiable desire to explore the world further, live in utter happiness and comfort, and have the luxury of time to be spontaneous enough to hop on a plane to Haiti, or discover experiences and situations that would normally not be on my radar.

Ultimately, I think we all seek the same things: Peace both inner and globally, which begets happiness, clarity, being a shoulder to lean on, and live with integrity and trust.

I'm always open to experiencing near anything. I lean toward cultural/artistic activities, but not restricted to it. Also love adventure/exotic travel. But it depends on how much spare time there actually is-i'm just as content with a book or movie. If it's an activity that has objective to please all, that's bound to be fun.
